From our first conversation we found Suzy friendly, expert, accommodating and easy to work with. We did meetings on zoom, she gave us loads of ideas, the price of her advice was reasonable, she was flexible when we changed our minds, and we are really happy with what we've ended up with.. We didn't put in everything she suggested, mainly due to cost, but she still managed to make it all work overall. I'm really glad we worked with her. She pushed us to think more about the lighting and to be more ambitious. We'd have just put in some spots and pendants, but we've ended up with floor lights, glowing leds and a fantastic strip light over our island which all work really well together.

My wife and I decided to refurbish the first floor of our London flat a couple of years ago, for the first time since 2004. We are a ground floor / lower ground floor Mansion block maisonette, which means the natural light is not great in certain parts of the flat. Therefore, one of the major objectives of the refurbishment was to improve the lighting throughout the flat, and also to add some pizazz and tasteful highlights along the way. We had a Lutron system before, but it was dated since we installed it in 2004, and the technology has changed significantly since then. In addition, one major objective was to convert to LED lighting, since this is more energy efficient and practical now. Ultimately, around 30% of the cost of the entire project was spent for the lighting. Suzy was extremely helpful in terms of recommending some tasteful additions to our lighting, including floor lights, up-lighting, lighting placements, and other key advice that - at the end of the day - really added to the aesthetics as far as the finished product so to speak. We are very happy with the way the lights look throughout our flat, and it made the refurbishment all worthwhile. As far as the light controllers, which mattered a lot to me, we opted for RAKO over Creston, Lutron and others. RAKO is less expensive but has an excellent app and is very functional. RAKO also gets good reviews, so we didn't feel that we were sacrificing anything. We have had a few glitches with the programming (a RAKO issue), but this is getting sorted out now. I would recommend Suzy for her experience, noting that lighting is inevitably the key to making a flat, villa or house look its best.
